Standing Committees

The following standing committees report to the Steering Committee:

• By-laws Committee, whose purpose is to creating and maintaining the Council By-laws

  Members: Open
• Communications Committee, whose purpose is to coordinate the dissemination of information about Council activities to the community, media, and outside organizations

  Members: Mimi Rohr, Laurel Strand
• Finance Committee, whose purpose is to maintain proper accounting procedures and establish an annual operating budget
  Chair: Jim Clardy (finance@montclairsic.org)
  Members: Barbara Goldenberg
• Endorsements Committee, whose purpose is to determine the criteria by which all requests for Council endorsement shall be determined, for reviewing all such requests against the established criteria, and for making recommendations to the Steering Committee based on their review

  Members: Jim Clardy
• Fundraising Committee, whose purpose is to create activities and incentives that generate operating funds for the Council
  Chair: Barbara Goldenberg (fundraising@montclairsic.org)
  Members: Jill Broadhurst, Mimi Rohr, Laurel Strand
• Nominations Committee, whose purpose is to solicit candidates and their qualifications for officer positions on the Steering Committee, and make recommendations to the Steering Committee on each candidate's qualifications
