Measure Y/OPD Staffing Questions & Answers

Because of a growing concern about the lack of police support in the greater Montclair Village area, and concerns about the implementation of Measure Y funding that were supposed to be providing for additional police officers on the street, MSIC hosted a community on August 9, 2007 to address these issues. Presenters included:

• Anne Marks, Violence Prevention Coordinator
• Kevin Grant, Violence Prevention Planner
• Karen Stevenson, Mayor Ron Dellums' Communications Director

Prior to the meeting MSIC invited residents to submit questions in writing. Several were answered in the meeting with the promise to provide a written reply to each after the meeting. Those Q&A's can be found by click here.
