Meeting Ground Rules

Welcome to our
community meeting. Please review these ground rules prior to participating
in our discussions.
- Please make
sure to sign-in on the official sign-in sheet located at the rear
table. This will insure you receive all our announcements and
future meeting times. Your information’s sole purpose is to notify
you of MSIC’s events.
- Please raise
your hand and stand up when called upon if you have a comment;
wait for the facilitator to acknowledge you.
- If you are
speaking publicly: please state your first name and what area
you live in Montclair.
- Please do
not speak over another member- you will be heard at some point
in the meeting.
- Please do
not shout or raise your voice in anger or to get your point across-
we are all here to find solutions.
- Please adhere
to the agenda timelines- we are under strict time constraints
with the subject matter we have to cover, including any guest
speakers. There will always be a time slot at the end of our agenda
items for general comments.
- Please clean
up after yourself: do not leave soda cans, food, or papers behind.
The community has allowed us to use this space as a courtesy-
please be considerate.
- Remember
that The MSIC Council is a group of volunteers.
